Vintage Harmony Arch-top Tenor Guitar in Richmond, Prince Edward Island for sale

$425

Circa 1962 Harmony Arch-top and back tenor guitar. Exceptionally rare.
Yes, it's been around; If you believe in MOJO here it is. Some marks, minor scratches and dents.
Body is solid (crack on front is stable, doesn't go through body; begins at an F Hole, fairly common), neck is straight. Guitar is perfectly intonated and ready to play. Moveable bridge. No dents in neck, no joint movement at body join.
Small, thin neck - numerous tunings - from regular guitar, to Celtic tunings (ie G-C-G-C or others) and , best of all, to mandolin (fiddle) tuning. If you know how to play the mandolin you already know all your chords.
Provides a different voice to any group.
If you like, you can tune it as a regular(simpler) guitar, as a beginner or if you just want a guitar.

Tenor guitars were originally designed for tenor banjo players who had to switch to guitar when 'Big Bands' came in.Why? Big bands were trying to get away from the 'Dixieland' Sound.
Played by the most popular singing group in America before the Beatles arrived - 'The Kingston Trio'.
Original case does an excellent job of keeping dust, rain and snow off guitar. Just don't check it as baggage on any flights. It even has 4 (count them) snaps - no skimping there.
The guitar is in very good, playable shape for a 50+ year-old instrument. Pickguard is missing - try E*AY, make your own, or leave it as is.
Great sound - plus it's 100% cool. Asking $425 OBO.
Text Will ship or send by Post with E-transfer or cash.
